Enroot Wellness is currently on a wellness pause to write a book. During this important time of slowing down and reflection, I aspire to cultivate a book of love, life lessons, and the agency of healing. The catalyst came unexpectedly, with wisdom deeper than my own.

In the Spring of 2023 I felt compelled, almost summoned to write. A force that is changing my course and what I was doing with my life. The impetus: the wisdom and teachings of a loyal Golden Retriever named Makai. The pages are filled with story, science, and spirit. The book invites readers on a journey of self-discovery and connection, and can serve as a kind of encyclopedia for pet parents to enhance love and longevity with their companions.
