As a vital life force, your blood tells a vital story. Our blood provides a lot of information. It tells a story. Many times these tests are ordered by a physician to determine or manage diagnosable conditions, and the individual may not even see or have the results explained to them.
Enroot Wellness would like to change this approach.
Get to know your body from your blood. As a vital life force, we can “see” what’s going on by looking at patterns in the blood and resolving issues. This is where root cause resolution begins. Biomarkers in blood will be interpreted based on optimal & functional ranges. Assessment of 100+ biomarkers (eg. cholesterol, glucose, TSH) is available. Helps determine clinical imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, and patterns of dysregulation. From here, you will receive a personalized wellness plan.
Getting a Blood Test
Enroot Wellness needs a current blood test to perform the bloodwork analysis. If you have bloodwork that is less than 3 months old from your physician, we may be able to use your current bloodwork. Simply send the lab results to email@example.com. Ideally, labs should include tests from seven categories for Enroot Wellness to run a full Functional Health Report. Please provide this to your PCP to ensure optimal test codes are included when/if you have these ordered through your doctor.
If you do not have current bloodwork, Enroot Wellness can complete the blood testing for you. You can view the Blood Test options and then purchase a bloodwork analysis here, which will interpret the blood test results and provide the following…
What to Expect with a Personalized Bloodwork Analysis
- Review of the lab results to identify patterns; nutrient insufficiencies, imbalances, which body systems are in need of attention
- Allow 1 week for research and analysis to be completed on your bloodwork
- Analysis includes a personalized Functional Health Report, with biomarker/lab result, functional findings, normal or out-of-range based on optimal range (ranges are age & biological gender-dependent)
- Personalized interventions to improve deficiencies & imbalances
- Plan for a 1-hour wellness consultation to review the bloodwork analysis findings together (billed separate from bloodwork analysis service)
Recommended for the individual who wants to understand their own unique nutrient pitfalls and patterns of imbalance related to epigenetic (diet, lifestyle, and predisposed) influencers on absorption, assimilation, and production of key metabolites.
Scope of the assessment
Macronutrients provide energy and building blocks for tissue/organ development, fiber for our microbiota, cholesterol for hormone production, and more. Micronutrients contribute to energy production, tissue development, hormone and neurotransmitter production, brain function, immune function, and more. Whether one’s way of eating, one’s genetics, or their epigenetics is the reason for nutrient deficiencies, this analysis determines the gaps and gives you a plan to help fill in those gaps. Nutritional supplement plans may include vitamins, minerals, enzymes, superfoods, botanicals, in addition to stress management tools, breathing exercises, muscle testing, and/or further testing. Nutraceuticals provide a wide array of nutrients in condensed form, allowing us to target specific deficiencies or upregulate certain pathways that require those nutrients in abundance.
Biomarker examples: CBC with differential + CMP + cholesterol panel, or CBC + CMP + thyroid panel + vitamin D
CBC stands for complete blood count which tests our red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), leukocytes (neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, monocytes, basophils), platelets, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, and so on.
CMP stands for comprehensive metabolic panel and this gives our status of glucose, calcium, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate), kidney markers (BUN, creatinine), liver markers (Alkaline phosphatase, ALT, AST, Bilirubin), and so on.
