Getting a Blood Test

Enroot Wellness needs a current blood test to perform the bloodwork analysis. If you have bloodwork that is less than 3 months old from your physician, we may be able to use your current bloodwork. Simply send the lab results to cami@enrootwellness.com. Ideally, labs should include tests from seven categories for Enroot Wellness to run a full Functional Health Report. Please provide this to your PCP to ensure optimal test codes are included when/if you have these ordered through your doctor.

What to Expect with a Personalized Bloodwork Analysis

• Review of the lab results to identify patterns; nutrient insufficiencies, imbalances, which body systems are in need of attention
• Allow 1 week for research and analysis to be completed on your bloodwork
• Analysis includes a personalized Functional Health Report, with biomarker/lab result, functional findings, normal or out-of-range based on optimal range (ranges are age & biological gender-dependent)

Scope of the assessment

Macronutrients provide energy and building blocks for tissue/organ development, fiber for our microbiota, cholesterol for hormone production, and more. Micronutrients contribute to energy production, tissue development, hormone and neurotransmitter production, brain function, immune function, and more. CBC stands for complete blood count which tests our red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), leukocytes (neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, monocytes, basophils), platelets, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, and so on.

CMP stands for comprehensive metabolic panel and this gives our status of glucose, calcium, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate), kidney markers (BUN, creatinine), liver markers (Alkaline phosphatase, ALT, AST, Bilirubin), and so on.
