As a vital life force, your blood tells a vital story. Results from blood tests (biomarkers) represent your current health profile from the prior 3 months of your life and beyond.
With this tool of reading the blood, listening to its current needs, there is a profound opportunity with which to fulfill the gaps, nourish the cells, and recalibrate the organ systems. Your genes are not your destiny. When patterns of imbalance are identified within the blood, before or during the gene of dysfunction gets signaled or “turned on,” we can reconnect to reroute the roadmap.
You can order blood testing from Enroot Wellness anytime. This can be especially helpful if:
- you want up-to-date blood tests
- your doctor is not able to order the tests you want
- you’re monitoring a specific biomarker (i.e. iron) over time
- you want enroot to do a bloodwork analysis but don’t have recent blood test/s (within the past 3 months)
- you’re not sure insurance will cover the tests or
- you’re simply curious what story your blood is telling
How it Works:
Step 1: Purchase Blood Test/s (choose from below, along with Bloodwork Analysis service)
Step 2: Take requisition form (emailed to you) to blood draw location
Step 3: Email will arrive from Enroot Wellness when your bloodwork results have been received + analyzed
What to expect with a blood test ordered through Enroot:
- Purchase blood test package or a la carte tests of your choice
- A requisition form will be emailed to you within 1-2 business days from purchase, along with the address of a LabCorp blood draw location nearest to your home address (if needed, please indicate alternative address in checkout)
- Print requisition form and visit LabCorp location (no appointment required)
- You will not supply an insurance card upon arriving to LabCorp for your blood draw (as this is prepaid bloodwork, instructions related to this will accompany the requisition form)
- Blood Tests will then be emailed to you, with not only the lab ranges (conventional), but also the optimal/functional range for each biomarker.
- If you want the results interpreted for nutrient deficiencies and clinical imbalances, as well as a personalized wellness plan developed for you, please also purchase “Bloodwork Analysis” (below).

hsCRP: high-sensitivity, acute phase inflammatory marker, those at potential risk of heart disease or stroke
HbA1c: measures amount of glycated hemoglobin (linked to a sugar), indicates presence of excessive sugar in the bloodstream. HbA1c can be constant or variable (peaks and valleys) levels throughout the day. This test measures the quantity, not whether there is variability, for this glycomark is a more accurate reading for how the body is “managing” (dealing with) excess blood glucose.
Glycomark (1,5-Anhydroglucitol, 1,5-AG): measures quality of blood glucose control, whereas HbA1c measures quantity, for the individual with a history of high glucose, on insulin, and/or high HbA1c.
C-peptide: for the individual with diabetes, metabolic syndrome, history of cardiovascular (CVD, CAD), and/or high fasting blood glucose, assessment of beta cell function in the pancreas.
Bilirubin: for monitoring current or suspected oxidative stress; symptoms may include: fatigue, memory concerns, brain fog, susceptibility to infections, depression, muscle pain, as a shortlist.
Ferritin: storage form of iron, to further assess iron deficiency status and/or hemochromatosis (too much iron being stored).
There are many other tests available, and the best way to discern which one/s are best is to schedule a Wellness Consult.
