Upon purchase of this blood test, you will be emailed a “requisition form” which is what you will bring to a LabCorp draw center (a location nearest to your home or address of choice will also accompany the email). For more information, please see What to Expect.
CBC stands for complete blood count which tests our red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), leukocytes (neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, monocytes, basophils), platelets, hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, and so on.
CMP stands for comprehensive metabolic panel and this gives our status of glucose, calcium, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate), kidney markers (BUN, creatinine), liver markers (Alkaline phosphatase, ALT, AST, Bilirubin), and so on.
